Where are the digital picture frame mods?

If you mod tech toys and shit, i have an idea for you. You know how cheap and easy to get digital frames are these days right? ( I mean you could get one for less than 50 bucks on WalMart) These things usually have a slot for SD cards (2 to 4 GB are pretty common now) and some also have USB ports on em, and they HAVE to have a chip in there somewhere right? So why don't i see anyone modding these things to run a linux for typing documents? A little more effort and these things could probably get internet access, 3G anyone? So if anyone has heard of a mod like this send the link over so i could oggle at em.
